Attention music lovers, there’s a big event coming up – the Icelandic Music Experiments festival is just around the corner, showcasing the latest talents in the Icelandic music scene who will be experimenting and pushing boundaries at Harpa.
The Music Experiment’s finals will be held on March 26-28 in the Northern Lights Hall, featuring the following bands: Bí Bí og Joð, Donyen, Dóra & Döðlurnar, Dusilmenni, flea market sweater, HáRún, Heagle, Hunulu, KRADAK, KRÍSA, Kusk, Little Menance, Merkúr, ÓHP, Ókindarhjarta, Project Reykjavik, Purple9, Raggi Jóns & Band, Runes, Sameheads, Sóðaskapur, TTC, and Woolly Mammoth´s Absence.
The final night of the IME will be on April 2, and it will be exciting to see who moves to the finals and who will become the IME winner this year and write their name in the annals of history. You can read about all the contestants and listen to audio examples here on the page.
