The Music Experiment 2023 finals night just wrapped up at Harpa!
During the finals, the following bands and musicians played: Spírall, Torfi, Marsipan, Nuclear Nathan, Fókus, Flyguy, Krassoff, BKPM, Gunni Karls, Dóra & Döðlurnar, Juno Paul, and Emma.
The band Fókus won first place, TORFI secured second, and Dóra & Döðlurnar took third. In the phone voting, Marsipan was named the People's Band. This year introduced a new award category, the Songwriting Award from FTT (the association of composers and lyricists), which Dóra & Döðlurnar won for their song "Á gatnamótum", receiving a support grant of 200,000 ISK.
