Registration started for Music Experiments
Registration for Music Experiments starts February 18 and ends on March 7. 2022. They will be held in the Northern Lights Hall of Harpa on March 26 to April 2. The semi finals will be on the 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th. Of March and the finals will be held on Saturday, April 2.

Music Experiments’ 40th anniversary!
Music Experiments are currently celebrating their 40th anniversary. The competition started in 1982 and is now one of the oldest music festivals in Iceland. This well-established music festival is well known within the industry, as many successful musicians and industry professionals have participated in the competition at some point in their careers. Over the past forty years, approximately 16,700 bands and soloists have participated in the competition, representing a total of roughly 50,000 individuals!
