Did You Know?
- The winner will receive 40 hours at Studio Stemma, while the runner-up will receive 30 hours. Third place will be awarded 20 hours at Studio Stef, and fourth place will receive 25 hours at Glaðheimar. Other prizes were from Rín and the musical instrument store of Poul Bernburg.
- Arnarflug and Icelandair gave discounts on fares for bands from outside the capital.
- 1 girl competed in 1988. Pandora was the name of the band.
- About 400 people showed up on the final night. That didn't seem much compared to the other nights.
- About 700 people attended the final night.
