Music Experiments is for youth aged 13-25. The organizing committee reserves the right to reject band applications if: the demo doesn’t meet minimum musical standards for the competition, the participation fee isn’t paid on time, or for other reasons.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Each band performs two original songs during preliminary rounds. Total performance time must not exceed 10 minutes. In the finals, each band performs three original songs. They don’t have to play the same two songs from the preliminary rounds. Total performance time in the finals must be between 12-15 minutes. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

During each preliminary round, the audience selects one band or act to advance to the finals, and the selection committee chooses another.<\/span><\/p>

After all preliminary rounds, the selection committee may choose additional bands or acts for the finals. Bands can still advance even if they didn’t qualify during their preliminary round. <\/span><\/p>

The competition website will announce these selections after all preliminary rounds. Organizers will also call the selected bands or musicians.<\/span><\/p>
