Did You Know?
In the fall of 1983, the Music Experiments were held for the second time and were well attended by spectators. Unfortunately, there is not much information about the competition in the media, but it is known that twenty-four bands were registered, although information is only available about nineteen of them.
- The host of the evening was Ásgeir Tómasson
- Around 900 guests attended the final night at Kjarvalstaðir.
- The voting system for the finals was split 50-50 between the audience and the judging panel
- Dúkkulísurnar almost didn't get to play, as they were not present when it was their turn. Fortunately, it ended up working out for them.
- The judges were: Jón Freysson (BARA-Flokkurinn), Petrea Friðriksdóttir (titled youth representative), and Sigurður Sverrisson (coordinator of Járnsíðan on the news site of MBL)
