Um bandið: “ Divine has been working in its current state since September 2009. The band has a colorful history because of many former band members and bizarre rehearsal spaces. The band members are all around the age of 20 and have been playing their instrument for about 7 years. The band was completely reborn a year ago when it got a new rehearsal space, different line‐up and a new musical direction. The band plays progressive metal, long and complex riffs which sometimes require the listener’s full attention. Heavy riffs are mostly the driving force but the songs are often broken up with melodic clean parts. The singing is for the most part clean and sometimes voiced. The band is influenced by bands such as Dream Theater, Opeth, Lamb of God, Megadeth, Alice in Chains and many others.  Divine recorded demos in January where three songs were recorded, Anguished, Spells of Coming and Oedipus. The band is now working on new material as well as rehearsing the other songs. „
